MAGNESIUM CONCENTRATE

Magnesium is sometimes referred to as The Master Mineral.

Magnesium is essential to life, found in every living cell and involved in every physiological process we rely on to live. It works in partnership with calcium in many physiological functions including nervous and cardiovascular processes and bone-building. Our energy currency is called ATP, and magnesium is essential for its production and utilization. Magnesium plays a vital role in the contraction and relaxation of muscles, including skeletal muscles, as well as those of the gastrointestinal tract, and muscles regulating blood flow, blood pressure and breathing passages.

The heart is a muscle, and regulation of the electrical and muscular functions of the heart depend upon magnesium. Magnesium is essential for preventing heart disease, the nation’s number one killer. Within the last fifty years, research indicates that approximately eight million people have died from heart failure, due to a lack of magnesium alone.

Optimal mental and emotional functions require adequate magnesium for neurotransmitter and hormone production. Magnesium is also essential for making new cells, activating B vitamins, clotting blood and secretion of insulin.

Magnesium deficiency has become widespread, largely because of decades of mineral depleting farming practices. Official figures show that up to 72% of women and 42% of men receive less then the daily recommended level of magnesium.
It is often times difficult to know if you are deficient in Magnesium or not because Magnesium is found mostly in your cells rather than in your blood.

Perhaps the two biggest symptoms Magnesium deficiency is fatigue and weakness.

In conventional medical circles, magnesium deficiency is considered rare, but most nutritionally minded physicians recognize the symptoms of potential magnesium deficiency in its many presentations. Magnesium deficiency should be considered as a partial or determining cause in any of the following conditions:

  • ADD and ADHD
  • Alzheimer’s / Dementia
  • Anxiety
  • Arrhythmias
  • Asthma
  • Bone weakness
  • Depression
  • Diabetes
  • Edema
  • Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Hypertension / High blood pressure
  • Irritability
  • Joint and muscle inflammation
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Joint and muscle stiffness
  • Migraines
  • Muscle cramps and twitches
  • Muscle weakness
  • Osteoporosis
  • Panic attacks
  • Phobias
  • PMS
  • Poor circulation
  • Skin Disorders
  • Sleep Disorders

Magnesium deficiency symptoms have three categories:

  • Early symptoms include irritability, anorexia, fatigue, insomnia, and muscle twitching. Other symptoms include poor memory, apathy, confusion, and reduced ability to learn.
  • Moderate deficiency symptoms consist of rapid heartbeat and other cardiovascular changes.
Severe deficiency symptoms could lead to tingling, numbness, and a sustained contraction of the muscles, along with hallucinations and delirium.

Modern commercial fertilizers do not routinely replace magnesium, so it becomes depleted growing the green leafy vegetables that like to extract magnesium from the soil and make it available for us to eat. Because magnesium is highly soluble, the magnesium that does appear in foods is often removed in any form of commercial processing.

How to take it: An important point about magnesium is that it promotes bowel motility. If you take “too much” magnesium, you can get cramping and diarrhea. Magnesium is often balanced with calcium, because “calcium constipates and magnesium moves” when it comes to bowel activity. When supplementing, any dose that causes loose bowels is too high; when magnesium acts as a laxative you are not absorbing the magnesium internally.
An estimated dose is somewhere between 3 and 10 mg per pound of body weight. This figure is based upon the very low absorption rate of most magnesium supplements. FreeMart PureMagneium is in the form of Magnesium L Theonate. It is highly absorbable and therefore a much smaller intake may actually result in more magnesium being available to your cells.

Other important absorption points are that iron interferes with the absorption of magnesium, so they shouldn’t be taken together. Digestive challenges interfere with mineral absorption, so addressing irritable bowel or indigestion may be necessary to achieve full benefit from magnesium supplementation.
Suggested Usage For maintenance – 1-3 times daily until symptoms subside and then 2-3 times weekly:
Adults take 40 drops under the tongue or mix with a small amount of Free-Mart Water (mixed) to be gargled or swished in the mouth for approximately six minutes before swallowing.
Children 4+ years use 10 drops in the same manner.
Younger children 1-2 drops in the mouth.

FreeMart PureMagnesium may also be applied topically and through absorption directly into the skin may go more directly to muscles and tissues that are experiencing pain, cramping or discomfort due to lack of magnesium.

Free-Mart PureMagnesium Concentrate is our trademarked brand consisting of 98+% pure Magnesium L Theonate dispersed and suspended in pure, pharmaceutical grade water.

Note: The color of our mineral solutions can and do change with time and here is why.

We do not add any chemicals or color at all to any of our products; this includes chemical stabilizers. What produces the color in our PureSilver for example is the size of the Silver atoms and the number of Silver atoms that make up the Silver nanoparticles that are suspended in pure pharmaceutical grade water.

White light hits the nanoparticles of Silver in suspension, but not all of the wave lengths are absorbed; the ones that are not absorbed are reflected back as the color one sees. What is absorbed or reflected back is determined by the size of the atom (Gold, Silver, and Copper all have different atomic sizes) and the number of atoms that make up the nanoparticle that is suspended in the water. Smaller nanoparticles of a metal will produce a different color than larger nanoparticles.

Other manufacturers add stabilizing chemicals to their mineral solutions to prevent them from conglomerating together, thus causing a different color because now the nanoparticles are larger. We refuse to add stabilizing chemicals in order to maintain purity.

The tendency for Silver nanoparticles to conglomerate increases as the concentration increases because there are more Silver nanoparticles packed into the same cubic centimeter. In this case 200 ppm has one hundred times more Silver nanoparticles than 2 ppm. The downside of that is the perception that something is wrong if the color changes over time.

The reality is that regardless of the color, the nanoparticles that are suspended in pure pharmaceutical grade water are 100% safe because they are 99.99+% pure to begin with and they are suspended in pure water.

The products that one should be suspicious of are the ones that are too stable and one should ask what chemical has been added to provide this stability. The fact that we do not have a chemical stabilizer in our mineral solutions is evidenced by the fact that it can, and does, change color over time. Nevertheless, it remains 100% safe and effective.
